城市逐漸變得失修和荒廢的過程

導致城市衰落的原因：

(1) 新的都市計畫或交通建設：原本位於交通中途點的城市失去功能

(2) 工業社會原本具優勢的產業逐漸蕭條：未發展出足以支撐原本經濟規模的新產業

(3) 戰爭或種族糾紛：造成人口遷移

這可能減低市民的生活素質

The process of the city become disrepair and deserted gradually

Causes of urban decay:

(1) New urban planning or transportation construction: the city which was originally located at the traffic halfway point loses its function

(2) The industries that originally had advantages in the industrial society are gradually declining: new industries that can support the original economic scale have not been developed

(3) War or race disputes: causing population migration

This may reduce quality of life for citizens
